Listen up players in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ontario.

The biggest poker series of the year is coming back, and the full 315-tournament schedule for the North American Championship of Online Poker (NACOOP) is now available.

Not only that, we have details of some fantastic Gold Pass winning opportunities, combining the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) and an Oracle Red Bull Racing Fan Experience this November. .

Get your diaries (do people still have those?) and prepare to make notes.

It all takes place from September 15 – October 2, 2023 with a $7 million guarantee and 61 Championship Trophies across the range of events.

What to expect in each series

Let’s recap on what each of those series contains.

USCOOP (MI+NJ) and PACOOP (PA) will comprise of 89 tournaments each, with buy-ins from $10 – $2,500.

They’ll have guarantees of $3 million and $2.5 million respectively.

If you’re in Ontario you can enjoy a schedule of 137 tournaments with a guaranteed $1.5 million (~$2 million CAD) on offer during ONCOOP.

NACOOP Event Highlights include:

19+ Championship Trophies available per liquidity.
19 Trophy events in PACOOP and USCOOP, 17 Trophy events in ONCOOP.
1 Trophy for Main Event Winner in PA, US and ON.
1 Trophy for Leader Board Winner in PA, US and ON.

You will also find a wide variety of games, speeds, structures and formats and table maxes.

Games on offer will include No Limit Hold’em, Omaha varieties, 2-7 Triple Draw (PACOOP and USCOOP only), Razz, Seven Card Stud H/L and mixed games.

In a hurry? You’ll find tournaments at standard, Turbo, Hyper, and Slow speeds. Along with Bigstacks, Deepstacks, Freezeouts (PACOOP and USCOOP only) and Zoom. Plus the Progressive and Total Knock Out formats you would expect.

$300 Main Event (PA: $250K Gtd / SL: $350K Gtd / ON: $150K Gtd).
$50 Mini Main Event.
$2,500 High Roller (PACOOP and USCOOP only).

Players in Ontario will be able to take part in an exclusive $1,000 High Roller Championship Event with $100K Gtd. It also has the opportunity to win a trophy in Razz, HORSE, 8-Game.

WIN A GOLD PASS

Remember, overall guarantees are inclusive of a Vegas Gold Pass package for the winners of the respective Main Events.

What does that package worth $20,300 include? Glad you asked.

A seat in the $5,300 NAPT Las Vegas High Roller (November 10-12).
A 3-day pass for two (November 16-18) for Oracle Red Bull Racing Fan Experience in Las Vegas.
9 nights hotel accommodation for two (November 10-19) at Resorts World Las Vegas, including taxes and resort fees.
$4,000 towards flights and expenses.

You might have worked out for yourself that it’s a prize that’s perfect for any poker fan with a fondness for racing. Or a racing fan who likes a bit of poker. Or someone who really likes Las Vegas.

NACOOP will offer the first opportunities to win a Vegas Gold Pass, with one Pass available for the Main Event winner of each Championship.

ABOUT THE SERIES

The eagle-eyed among you will have noticed the name of this COOP series has changed. Previously known as USCOOP, but now also incorporating a series for Ontario, the series will now be known as NACOOP.

New name, but same great opportunities for players to win a COOP title. The series will comprise tournaments for players in MI/NJ, PA and Ontario and across the board, it’s a series you won’t want to miss.

While the schedule is yet to be finalised, we can tell you there will be more than 70 events giving players the opportunity to compete for a slice of a guaranteed $7 million* prize pool (up from $4.5 million last year), as well as the chance to get their hands on a 24 Karat Gold plated trophy for the NACOOP Main Event champions.

Buy-ins range from as little as $10 all the way up to $2,500+. There will be various qualification routes for all events — such as $1 satellites for select events including the $300 NACOOP Main Event — but you can simply buy in directly, too.

Players in the shared player pool of Michigan and New Jersey are guaranteed $3 million in prizes as they compete in USCOOP, while Pennsylvania offers $2.5 million for PACOOP.

Over in Ontario, the ONCOOP will guarantee $1.5 million (~$2 million CAD) allowing players in the province the chance to get in on the action.
