“I started playing on PokerStars because I saw many of the biggest names in poker were sponsored by PokerStars and I loved watching coverage of the EPT. If PokerStars was sponsoring the biggest names and tour in poker, that’s where I wanted to play too. That all remained true when PokerStars came back to Michigan 10 years later so I knew that’s where I wanted to play once they returned.”

ABOUT David Kaye

The Michigan native discovered poker with friends in the summer of 2010, inspired by having just watched the World Series of Poker (WSOP) that year. After playing small-stakes live tournaments and cash games until 2020, Kaye continued playing poker when casinos closed due to COVID-19 restrictions by switching to the online game. He subsequently decided to start creating poker content for Twitch and YouTube as a part-time passion project.
