Yep, it’s finally here. The schedule for the 2018 World Championship of Online Poker was announced on Thursday, so clear your early September plans.

Our favourite time of the year
Running from September 2nd to the 17th, there will be an amazing $116 million in guaranteed prizes throughout the WCOOP 2018. And with the three-tier buy-in option (Low, Medium, High) and with buy-ins ranging from $2.20 to $25,000, there’s really something for everyone.

No regrets! Introducing…UNFOLD
“Have you ever folded a hand pre-flop, and then wished you hadn’t? You fold a hand only to watch your straight, flush or even better, land on the flop. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?”
The latest PokerStars cash game innovation, UNFOLD, was introduced yesterday. The basic premise of the game is: if you folded your cards pre-flop, you can UNFOLD them after it. Sounds interesting, right?

VIDEO: The hands they wish they could UNFOLD
Tying in with the UNFOLD announcement, we went through our video archives to find the best ‘hands they wish they could UNFOLD’ clips.

Featuring Niall Farrell, Dzmitry Urbanovich, Vanessa Selbst, Doc Sands, Martin Jacobson, and Dan Colman, these videos show why UNFOLD makes for a pretty interesting format.
Last chance to win EPT Barcelona package this Sunday (€530 Mega-Satellite)
I think that headline explains it all, but let me elaborate a little.
This Sunday, August 5th, PokerStars is running a €530 Mega-Satellite for EPT Barcelona, with 15 full packages (worth €8,300 each) guaranteed.

Casino Barcelona
This will be your last chance to win a full package (Main Event entry, hotel for eight nights, plus money for travel), so get regging. After that you’ll still be able to win your entry to the Main event, but the satellites will only offer ‘Seat Only’ or ‘Seat + Expenses’ prizes.
Returning to Russia for the EPT Open Sochi (Sep 21-29)
This week we also announced that we’ll be returning to Sochi in September for the EPT Open.
It will basically have everything you’d expect at a regular EPT (great tournaments, fantastic structures, the best staff, and incredible sights to see) but the buy-ins are a little bit smaller, making it more affordable for everyone to come and play.
Here’s a look at the key tournament dates:
• EPT Open Sochi Main Event: September, 25-29 – RUB 132,000 (approx. $2,125) – Guarantee RUB 60,000,000 (approx. $1,000,000)
• EPT Open Sochi High Roller: September, 28-29 – RUB 258,000 (approx. $4,150)
There are also five Platinum Passes ready to be given out!

Have a great weekend everyone!
