Well, we’re in it now, aren’t we? After a couple of days of dipping our little toes in the late spring waters, it seems somebody has come from behind and given us the ol’ bully’s push into the deep end. All we can do now is stay afloat. The PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker has finished the spring thaw and is raging hard.
In just the past 24 hours, the team of bleary-eyed bloggers has put together several thousand words of reporting on the final tables that brought us into Wednesday morning.
Included in the big action was Team PokerStars Pro Betrand “ElkY” Grospellier. Fresh off his huge win in the EPT Madrid High Roller event, ElkY just posted a third place finish in the high buy-in of the SCOOP Pot-Limit 5-Card Draw event. Elsewhere, Team PokerStars Pro Matthias “mattidm” de Meulder pulled in more than $34,000 in the high buy-in of the late-night high buy-in turbo event. Martin Harris has that story in JeankeNissan binks Event #8-H ($1,050 NLHE Turbo); Matthias de Meulder 5th.
