Sometimes even turbo events get bogged down in an intense battle. The final three players in TCOOP Event #63-L a.k.a. the Low-Stakes Edition of the TCOOP Main Event slugged it out for nearly 50 minutes before someone busted. Talk about alligator blood! The trio consisting of Doktor Dose, Zanetti89, and posetuta displayed superhuman powers for several levels because no matter how many times they tried, no one would bust in this turbo-charged format. You knew it was a matter of time before someone finally gave out. Brazil’s Zanetti89 was trying win another title for Brazil, but fell short of the mark with a third-place exit. Heads-up between Germany’s Doktor Dose and Romania’s posetuta went quick compared to three-handed’s quagmire. When the dust settled, Romania defeated Germany when Doktor Dose busted out in second and place and posetuta stepped into the winner’s circle as the newest TCOOP champion.
The 2017 TCOOP Event #63-L $27 NL Low-Stakes Edition Main Event attracted a total of 23,662 entries with 18,995 original runners and 4,667 re-entries. The total prize pool of $580,902.10 more than doubled the $250,000 Guarantee. The top 3,338 places paid out with $59,393.07 originally set aside to the champion.
With 16 to go on the final two tables, Doktor Dose led with 31M. On the final table bubble, Zanetti89 challenged Doktor Dose for the lead as they closed in on 40M.
With ten remaining and action hand-for-hand, maki_makich attempted to double up with 3â™ 3♦ against Zanetti89’s J♣ J♥ . Zanetti89 turned a straight, which held up against maki_makich’s set of treys. maki_makich bubbled off the final table in tenth place.

DIAMOND DOGS: TummerDK eliminated in 9th place
Short-stacked TummerDK open-shoved for 10,317,487 and Zanetti89 accepted the challenge with A♣ Jâ™ against TummerDK’s Aâ™ Qâ™ . The board ran out Q♥ 10♥ 6♥ Kâ™ Q♣ . TummerDK flopped a pair of Queens and rivered trip Queens, but lost to Zanetti89’s turned Broadway straight. TummerDK became the first player to exit the final table. Ninth place paid out $4,241.10.
THE CANDIDATE: caio_rppp eliminated in 8th place
Two hands later, we saw the second bustout at the final table. posetuta opened to 2,556,000, caio_rppp moved all-in for 4,981,685 and posetuta called. posetuta was racing with 6♣ 6â™ versus caio_rppp’s K♥ Q♦ . The board ran out 10â™ 3â™ 2♣ Aâ™ 5♥ . caio_rppp turned a Broadway gutshot draw, but whiffed on the river. posetuta won the pot with a pair of sixes. Brazil’s caio_rppp earned $5,898.53 for eighth place.
SWEET THING (REPRISE): M Cunha G eliminated in 7th place
Another Brazilian bit the dust. M Cunha G open-shoved for 9,500,137 with K♣ 4♣ and posetuta re-shoved with A♣ 10♦ . The board ran out Qâ™ 10♥ 6♣ 7♣ 7♦ . M Cunha G turned a flush draw, but did not get there on the river. posetuta dragged the pot with two pair. Brazil’s M Cunha G busted in seventh place, which paid out $8,203.73.
ROCK ‘N’ ROLL WITH ME: pl_pistolero eliminated in 6th place
pl_pistolero min-raised to 2.8M, Zanetti89 re-raised all-in for 75,561,333 with K♠K♣ and pl_pistolero called all-in for 14,008,643 with A♠A♣ . The flop was K♥ Q♣ 8♦ and Zanetti89 seized the lead with a set of Kings. The turn was the 3♥ and the river was the 5♥ . Zanetti89 won the pot with a set of Kings. pl_pistolero had Aces snapped off and headed to the virtual rail in sixth place, which paid out $11,409.84.
With five to go, Zanetti89 sat atop a mountain of chips worth 94.1M.
REBEL REBEL: nik81101 eliminated in 5th place
Doktor Dose opened to 2,842,000, nik81101 bombed it all-in for 12,639,874, and Doktor Dose called. Doktor Dose led with 10♦ 10♣ versus nik81101’s A♣ 10♥ . The board finished up 8â™ 5â™ 4♥ Q♦ 8♦ . Doktor Dose won the pot with two pair. Croatia’s nik81101 busted in fifth place, which paid out $15,868.85.
1984: PornoBaron eliminated in 4th place
Big-stacked bully Zanetti89 bombed it all-in for 96,261,976 and PornoBaron called all-in for 21,041,302. Zanetti89 led with A♣ 5♦ against PornoBaron’s K♣ J♥ . The board finished up A♥ 8â™ 6♦ 3♣ 10♣ . Zanetti89 won the pot with a pair of Aces. Germany’s PornoBaron busted in fourth place, which paid out $22,070.50.
DEAL
With three left in the hunt for the title, Zanetti89 led with 117.6M, followed by posetuta (75.1M) and Doktor Dose (43.8M). Any deal had to leave $11,618.00 on the table for first place. The Numbers were floated… Zanetti89 ($43,318.97), posetuta ($40,749.61), and Doktor Dose ($37,093.93).
Zanetti89 asked for 46K. posetuta shot down the counter offer. Zanetti89 asked for an extra 1K from each opponent. posetuta declined again, but Doktor Dose offered to give up 1K. The new numbers were floated with Zanetti89 ($44,318.97), posetuta ($40,749.61), and Doktor Dose ($36,093.93) and $11,618.00 on the table for the champion. Everyone was in agreement and a deal was reached. Action resumed.

After an lengthy three-handed match, someone finally busted. Doktor Dose open-shoved for 91,621,015 with K♥ 9â™ and Zanetti89 called all-in for 33,906,540 with Aâ™ 2♥ . The board ran out Qâ™ Q♥ 9♣ 5♣ 6♥ . Doktor Dose hit the flop and won the pot with two pair. Brazil’s Zanetti89 was dunzo in third place, which paid out $44,318.97.
