LATEST NEWS

April 2, 2025
It’s full steam ahead towards this Sunday’s enormous Sunday Million Anniversary and your final chances to get Season Leader Board points. Exciting stuff.
As if your whistle wasn’t already wet for the forthcoming action, let’s go over the noteworthy results from the latest episodes.
Hungary’s “anth0nypappa” took down the Sunday Million PKO on Monday, March 31, topping a 9,895-entry field to bank $53,819 plus $29,764 in bounties. No stranger to big events and high stakes, anth0nypappa already has a World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) title from 2021 and now has the prestigious Milly title on their CV.
There was also a lot of buzz around the $320 April Foolishness Mystery Bounty on Tuesday, April 1, as Spraggy — the event’s host — made a deep run. He ended up finishing second in the 165-entry event to earn $4,709, picking up $1,385 in bounty prizes along the way. “Sunni_92” of Austria was the victor, winning $6,048 plus the biggest bounty sum of $12,721. By busting Spraggy, they also collected an Anniversary ticket.
Over in the Leader Boards, it’s still “king153246” of Albania who sits atop the throne. If they can hold on they’ll win themselves $22,918 in SCOOP tickets.

It was a massive Sunday for players across all bankrolls, with the Sunday Million PKO and Sunday Storm Anniversary drawing huge fields and awarding incredible prizes.
Denmark’s “Liouli123” took down the $109 Sunday Million, outlasting a stacked field of 10,014 entries to claim $52,639 in winnings — plus an impressive $40,682 in bounties — for a grand total of $93,321. Quite the payday.
Over in the $11 Sunday Storm 14th Anniversary, Hungary’s “Diesel Ramirez” triumphed over 37,180 entries, securing $14,873 for first place and an additional $8,220 in bounties, bringing their total haul to $23,093.
As the Sunday Million Season heads into its final two weeks, Albania’s “king153246” sits atop the overall Leader Board. The last time we covered king153246 was during the WCOOP League, where they earned a team spot via the WCOOP Bootcamp and delivered a strong performance. Given their track record, it’s no surprise to see them dominating once again.

This Sunday Million Season offers tremendous value to PokerStars players, and we’re not even talking about the giveaways, ticket machines, and leaderboard prizes.
Last week’s Sunday Million (March 2-3) narrowly missed its $1 million guarantee with 9,954 entries, resulting in a small overlay. But the real value was found in the $55 Red Spade Open PKO. With 8,673 entries and a $500K guarantee, PokerStars contributed a whopping $66,350 to the prize pool—fantastic news for everyone playing. You don’t want to miss these huge events.
Both tournaments were won by Brazilians, with “Tchelo Shelby” taking down the Milly for $52,806 plus $32,514 in bounties, while “dukacgl” won the Red Spade Open for $34,033 plus $14,646. That’s a huge prize for just a $55 buy-in.
Those victories rocket both players into tied third place on the overall Season Leader Board, still led by the first week’s Milly winner Dalton “daltonhb” Hobold.
Despite not winning an event, Hungary’s “heroinelf2” is in second place after some consistent cashing across the season so far. They even won the biggest bounty in the $82 Monday Mystery, picking up a cool $10K for eliminating a single player.
