PokerStars’ Big Game On Tour Season 2 to air from May 17

The Big Game On Tour Season 2 arrives in May…
One of poker’s most beloved shows is about to return for a second season, bigger and better than ever before.
The iconic Big Game On Tour Season 2 will premiere on the PokerStars YouTube Channel on May 24, featuring a star-studded line-up that includes soccer legend Gerard Piqué and Hollywood icon Jennifer Tilly, plus James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton calling the action.
Episodes will then air on Fox Sports 1 two weeks after they’re released on YouTube.
This new round of high-stakes, star-studded poker was filmed in November 2024 during the North America Poker Tour (NAPT) visit to Las Vegas. Every Power Path Gold Pass winner was guaranteed an audition to become the next Loose Cannon – a qualifier staked $50,000 by PokerStars – while regular players competed in live qualifiers for a shot at the Big Game.
Before the season officially starts, there’s a special episode coming on May 17 showing exactly how the new Loose Cannons were selected. You won’t want to miss it.
AN EPIC RETURN
Season 2 follows the epic return of the smash-hit series last year, which saw breakout star and Loose Cannon Nikki Limo take on poker legends and celebrities Phil Hellmuth, Lex Veldhuis, Jennifer Tilly, Arden Cho, and Alan Keating. Limo’s fellow Loose Cannon Lily Newhouse also made waves, walking away with a cash prize and solidifying her place in Big Game lore.

WHAT IS THE BIG GAME ON TOUR?
The Big Game is a high-stakes cash game TV show that became a fan favourite for its colourful cast of characters and unique format.
The show, which debuted on US TV more than a decade ago, sees a cast qualifier (‘The Loose Cannon’) staked to play 150 hands of no limit hold’em against a top line-up of pros, businesspeople, and celebrities. The Loose Cannon takes home any profit they make over and above their starting stack.
The 2023 season of ‘The Big Game on Tour’ saw Loose Cannons Nikki Limo and Lily Newhouse compete against some of the biggest names in poker, including Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, Phil Laak and Alan Keating, plus Hollywood stars Jennifer Tilly, Arden Cho and Michael Ian Black.

For the second year in a row, there will be multiple line-ups. Gerard Pique, Jennifer Tilly, Andre Akkari, Sam Grafton, and Griffin Benger make up the first star-studded group. Upcoming line-ups have yet to be revealed, but we can confirm both four-time Super Bowl Champion Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski and sports media personality Nick Wright were in the mix.
