PokerStars Rewards Program updates: You spoke, we listened
The new PokerStars Rewards Program was announced on January 15. Here's where you'll find updates on any developments or changes.

The overall reaction to our new PokerStars Rewards Program has been positive, but there were always going to be some niggling issues and questions that needed answering.
Here, we’ll address any new developments related to the program.
BLACK CHEST MIGRATION
We’ve listened to players and adjusted the migration for players at the Black Chest level.
Black Chest players will now move to the new Black Chest, instead of moving to Diamond/Level 5 as originally intended.
To avoid any “gaming the system” for this change, we will implement a temporary 40% progress requirement before players can make an exchange. This will be equivalent to 100,000 Reward Points (RP) for the new progress bar.
If players want to maintain the new Black Chest and get the new 40% rakeback then they can, or if they want to move to the Diamond Tier then they can do that also.
For the latter, players will need to rake 100,000 RPs/$1,000 and then make the exchange to receive a Diamond Chest (valued at $360 or 36%) and stay on the Diamond level.
We will remove the 100,000 RP requirement for exchange in a few weeks.
SELECT LEADER BOARDS
Starting January 22 and running until March 31 we will run Weekly Leader Boards for our PokerStars Select and Select+ players on shared and ES licences.
The duration for this first promotion is 10 weeks, but we plan to continue to develop more exclusive offers to our Select and Select+ players.
Every Week we will run four Leader Boards with $17,000 guaranteed in prizes for Select+ and $12,000 guaranteed for Select.
(For our .ES players, this will be €12,000 for Select+ and €4,000 for Select).
Each week starts at 00:00 ET/CET on Monday and finishes at 23:59 ET/CET on Sunday. The top players will be credited within 48 hours of each Leader Board.
The Leader Board rules are very simple: Players will get 1 Leader Board point for every 5 Redemption points earned on all game types (including MTT play).
