Earlier in the week the MicroMillions 7 series had one of its first nine-way deals. Tonight’s Event #81 $5.50 PLO (6-max) final table would also feature a full table chop. After a lengthy discussion in few languages that this author regrets he cannot read, all six players walked away with a little extra cash than the posted amounts. Flash_ua would take away the smallest amount of the chop earning $624.64 but came within one hand of the title. Instead JANE JAN would finally slow down Flash_ua, claiming the title and $1,078.38.

The MicroMillions 7 Player of the Series overall leader Bobrovaflya despite having zero final tables, a staggering 29 cashes has the Russian sitting up top with a 50 point lead over the Event #17 champ Deeagie and 75 points over hel10s and stan87magic. Bobrovaflya would attempt to crack the 288 money spots today but fell way short in 939th place.

NoLimpToMe 14th place ($76.19) and Kayasa ($76.19) would exit on the same hand at different tables to shrink the tournament down to two tables of six. Among the final 12, Asmodei10 has a little final table experience having picked up $24K during this year’s Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP) in Event #10 and manlikepd hit the MicroMillions III Event #87 final table (also a 6-max affair) claiming third place for $1,651.72

Ten players would reach the seventh hourly break as only Pargams81 and csige11 would lose their chips while claiming $100.84 in 11th and 12th place respectively before the five minute time-out. Nizovoy did not last long upon the return, on the second hand back Asmodei10 promptly sent the Ukrainian away in tenth place just before the last pay bump.

spurs311 would donate a 1.3 million chip pot with the blinds at 40K/80K to JANE JAN’s stack while taking away $156.87 in ninth place. birdy221 flew away in eighth place ($156.87) after manlikepd’s turned flush made birdy221’s rivered straight inconsequential setting up hand-for-hand play.

Two big hands, one big pot of 2.1 million, would start up the final six. With the blinds at 50K/100K manlikepd would push 2♦ Kâ™  A♥ Aâ™  as MishaAK8 joined in with Jâ™  Qâ™  Q♣ K♥ . The J♣ 10♥ 10â™  flop gave MishaAK8 a decent straight draw while negating manlikepd’s. Sure enough a 9♣ on the turn left manlikepd two outs for a boat which missed 2♣ as our final table reconvened below:

A six-way chop?

After seven hands, the players decided to take a pause as the blinds moved up to 60K/120K leaving an average chip stack of just above 15BBs. Asmodei10 would be the first balk at the numbers wanting a slightly higher amount due to experience in these proceedings but the Russians (three) and Ukrainians (two) broke out their native languages in the chat box so this English speaking writer was unable to follow the negotiations despite Google Translate’s best effort. After nearly 30 minutes of discussions, Lunms told the PokerStars Host how to divvy up the dollars to Asmodei10 to settle on the six-way chop below leaving $100.00 to the champ:

MishaAK8 (Ukraine) $1,126.85
JANE JAN (Russia) $978.38
Asmodei10 (Russia) $1,043.30
@j@xsch@@k (Netherlands) $780.54
Lunms (Russia) $708.94
Flash_ua (Ukraine) $624.64

Back to playing poker

After the lengthy pause the final six still had to the TLB points, MicroMillions Player of the Series points, and the extra $100.00 to sort out. With the blinds at 60K/120K JANE JAN would raise to 360,000 from the hijack seat as Lunms shoved for 1.05 million from the big blind. JANE JAN made the call holding aces A♣ J♥ A♥ 2♣ as Lunms turned over the double suited K♥ 10♠ 7♥ A♠ . Despite holding aces JANE JAN would notch two pair on the flop and fade a flush draw 5♠ J♦ 2♦ 8♠ K♦ to knock Lunms out in sixth place ($708.94).

@FinishedFifthPlace

Still in the 60K/120K blind level JANE JAN would lead with a min-raise from the button as @j@xsch@@k made the call from the big blind. @j@xsch@@k checked the 5♥ 8â™  10♥ flop as JANE JAN made it 360,000 to go. A check-raise all-in was the answer from @j@xsch@@k pushing in 987,828 holding 7♣ 8♥ 8♣ 2♥ for middle set and a flush draw. However JANE JAN turned up top pair with the higher flush draw A♣ 6♥ Q♥ 10♣ . Hearts would get there by the river J♦ and 4♥ ending @j@xsch@@k’s night in fifth place ($780.54).

One last dei

As the blinds moved up to 80K/160K Flash_ua, no longer the shortest stack, would complete from the small blind as Asmodei10 checked the big blind to see a Q♦ J♣ 8♣ flop. Flash_ua led out for 240,000 as Asmodei10 raised to 1.04 million. Holding the flopped straight 8♦ 4â™  9â™  10♦ Flash_ua re-raised enough to put Asmodei10 all-in. Asmodei10 called all-in for 193,477 more holding top two 3♥ Jâ™  9♦ Q♣ . Despite catching a third pair on the turn 9♣ Asmodei10 headed to the cashier’s window in fourth place ($1,043.30) after the 2♥ river.

Flash is fast

Two hands after taking care of Asmodei10, Flash_ua hopped right into a huge 4.6 million pot against MishaAK8. Watch below as Flash_ua attempts to take another step towards a MicroMillions title after taking the smallest portion of the six-way chop:

A flopped set turned into a boat 8â™  J♣ 9♣ J♥ 2♦ for Flash_ua’s 9♦ 10♣ Q♦ 9♥ as MishaAK8’s 7â™  Qâ™  3♥ A♣ missed completely but could consoled by taking away the largest part of the chop in third place ($1,126.85).

Worst to First?

Flash_ua was looking to make a tremendous turnaround at the final table after accepting the lowest amount during the six-way chop. On the second hand of heads-up play against JANE JAN, Flush_ua took over the chip lead for the first time (5.7 million vs. 5.49 million).

However, three minutes later JANE JAN would pull ahead 5.93 million to 5.27 million setting up this tournament changing 10.5 million chip pot below:

After the J♥ 10â™  5♦ flop both players liked it enough to shove all their chips in the middle as JANE JAN turned over K♥ Kâ™  10♣ Q♦ with Flush_ua holding the smaller straight draw 9♣ Qâ™  9♦ Aâ™  . JANE JAN’s draw would get there on the turn A♦ leaving Flush_ua dead to a chop with two kings. Another five 5♣ on the river declared JANE JAN today’s MicroMillions 7 Event #81 champion earning a total of $1,078.38!
