Did you know you can play the Sunday Million through Power Path? Here’s how…

Last updated: August 2024

You might think that Power Path – PokerStars’ exciting new qualification route designed to help casual players get into big events – is all about live tournament packages.

That’s understandable. With multiple Gold Passes worth $10,300 or Silver Passes worth $2,500 up for grabs daily, it’s never been easier for recreational players to win their way into prestigious live events – from the European Poker Tour (EPT) to popular regional tours.

But actually, Power Path also has a big focus on online poker. Not only can you turn Silver and Gold Passes into online buy-in packages, but you can also use your $109 Bronze Passes to play the prestigious Sunday Million every weekend.

USE POWER PATH TO PLAY THE SUNDAY MILLION

You can use your $109 Power Path Step 4 tickets to play the Sunday Million, and if there’s one tournament that every poker player loves to play and hates to miss, it’s the Milly.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re a high-stakes professional used to playing for $1 million first-place prizes, or a weekend warrior who likes to take a shot on a Sunday afternoon. The Sunday Million is the weekly online title that everyone wants on their resume.

Some players have even won it more than once. Russian crusher Artem “veeea” Vezhenkov remains the only player to have won the Milly three times, while at least 20 players can call themselves two-time Sunday Million champions.

You can see the full list of those multiple champs on our Sunday Million timeline.

Vanessa Kade won the largest prize ever awarded in the Sunday Million

As for the largest Sunday Million prize, that went to Vanessa “Niffler” Kade back in March 2021 when she won a special Anniversary edition of the Milly for a staggering $1,514,920.

Not hard to see why she called it the best day of her life.

So, what would you get for winning the Milly?

Well, tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of dollars, for a start.

You’ll get the Sunday Million winner badge on your PokerStars avatar.

And you’ll forever be able to wow your peers by saying you won the Sunday Million. That’s bragging rights for life.

Not bad, eh?

HOW IT WORKS

Right, back to the how.

Power Path players can now gain entry to the Milly not only by winning a Bronze Pass worth $109 but simply by winning a Step 4 Power Path ticket.

So if you don’t fancy trying to go for a big Pass and instead would rather hop into the Sunday Million instead, now you can.

Or perhaps you’re grinding the $11 buy-in Step 3 a ton and you’ve collected a healthy yield of Step 4 tickets. If that’s the case, you can now use them to play the Milly every week.
