PokerStars Live wins Best Live Stream at Global Poker Awards 2024
While the hardest-working team in poker was winding down after another long day at the European Poker Tour (EPT) in Paris, some fantastic news was breaking across the pond.
PokerStars Live was awarded the Best Live Stream award at the Global Poker Awards 2024 in Las Vegas ā a well-deserved, fan-voted victory for the best crew in the business.
It was also a fantastic night for PokerStars tournament staff as Toby Stone triumphed in the Best Tournament Director category, voted for by the poker media, players and his poker industry peers.

Plus, Marle Spragg was voted X/Twitter Personality of the Year by poker fans — a fantastic win for the PokerStars Ambassador.
Francine Watson, Associate Director of PokerStars live streams and TV shows, was at the ceremony to collect the award on behalf of the live stream team. āI feel really bad to be living it up in Vegas whilst my entire team is in Paris working their butts off,ā said Watson in her acceptance speech. āSorry guys. But maybe thereās something poetic in working on something thatās currently winning an award?ā

The Global Poker Awards are organised by the Global Poker Index (GPI) and shine a spotlight on the amazing work being produced in the industry, from incredible player performances to content creators and tournament staff.
PokerStars Live was voted Best Live Stream by poker fans around the world, beating fellow nominees Hustler Casino Live, Poker at The Lodge, PokerGo, and Triton Poker.
The win follows Hartiganās victory in the Best Broadcaster category last year, and a successful showing in 2022 that saw Poker in the Ears named Best Podcast and PokerStars Team Pro Benjamin āSpraggyā Spragg pick up the Best Streamer award.
PokerStars was also represented in other categories including another nod for Poker in the Ears, as well as a Best Streamer nomination for Lex Veldhuis.Ā
