ABOUT Jason Koon
As one of the all-time great poker players, Jason Koon needs little introduction, not when he’s amassed an incredible $58,000,000 in live tournament winnings. Born in West Virginia, Jason went to West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon and graduated with a master’s in Business Administration and Finance. It was during his time at college that he started to study poker. It didn’t take him long to make his mark on the felt – by 2009, he won a Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) tournament to take home more than $300,000 in prize money. Among Jason’s other career highlights, both online and in live tournaments, are victories in the Super Tuesday, Sunday 500 and Sunday Warm-Up events, as well as his first World Series of Poker bracelet in 2021.
