After coming through the Mega Path on PokerStars and winning a Platinum Pass as a result, Mateusz Suchy realised he should probably get some practice at the live poker tables. He had never before attended a live poker event, but put it firmly on his “to do” list.
The 37-year-old from Viersen, Germany, learned poker about four years ago, but has been taking it much more seriously over the past year. When he’s not playing, his hobbies include all sports and jogging, as well as reading classics of Polish and German literature.
He intends to visit the Bahamas with his brother, where he’ll hope to make a major splash on his major tournament debut.
