The renowned US Spring Championship of Online Poker (US SCOOP) starts later this month. And the good news for Stateside players is that it carries the largest guarantee ever for a PokerStars US Series.

There’s $5M GTD in total. $2M for PASCOOP and $3M for MI/NJSCOOP, with both series running March 17 to April 3.

Each series has 42 events, with a low, medium and high buy-in’s ranging from $10 to $2,500.

SCOOP Phase Tournaments Start Today

If you just can’t wait until March 17 to get your SCOOP on, then there’s more good news. You don’t have to.

New for 2023, and starting today, are the SCOOP Phase tournaments.

You can try your luck in $10, $30 and $100 versions, with the survivors from all Phase I flights advancing with their stack to Phase II, which take place on Monday, April 3.

Trophy Hunting

What’s more important the money or the trophy? It’s a common poker question. And for over 40 events in both PA and MI/NJ, we’ve spared you that tough decision. The champion will not only pick up a bankroll boost, but a shiny trophy to immortalise their glory.

The lowest buy-in event that carries a trophy as well as the title, comes in at just $10. And the majority of these trophies will be awarded in designated ‘championship’ tournaments.

You, the players, have helped shape these events. After listening to player feedback the tournament team have added additional higher buy-in events. The high rollers can test themselves in more than 20 events that carry a $200+ buy-in, three $1k+ tournaments and a $2,500 Super High Roller.

And, winning a tournament isn’t the only way to secure a trophy.

During USA SCOOP they’ll be a leader board for each tier. Top any of those leader boards and you’ll also snag a trophy.

You’ve got to know when to fold’em

Hold’em isn’t the only game in town and fans of mixed games will be well catered for during the series.

Right from the off infact. As the first event on the schedule is the 8-Game Championship, with $20, $50 and $200 buy-ins.

As well as 8-game, you’ll find PLO, PLO8, 5-Card PLO, Badugi, 2-7 Triple Draw and H.O.R.S.E on the schedule. What’s more, plenty of the mixed game events have been given primetime slots. Meaning you won’t have to adjust your schedule to scoop during SCOOP.
