The return of the king
The GOAT of Twitch Poker has returned.
After several much-needed months away from Twitch, Lex Veldhuis made his comeback on Sunday (October 11) with a three-hour “just chatting” stream, in which he caught up with his community and filled everyone in on what has been going on in his life.
We’re not going to go into any detail (you can watch the full stream below), but needless to say, it was an emotional stream and thousands tuned in to hear from the PokerStars Ambassador.
The subject matter Lex discusses is tough at times, particularly if you’re a regular viewer who isn’t used to seeing the Terminator allow himself such vulnerability. But it’s by no means a tough watch. It’s simply a man sharing his life with us–the good and the bad–so that the community he’s worked so hard to build grows even stronger together.
It’s good to have you back, Lex.
Running Hot with Spraggy
Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg was on a bit of heater at the end of last week.
First, he took down the Hot $109 for $3,936
That bust-out in “shocking fashion” he’s referring to? That’ll be the final table of the Bounty Builder $44 that he was on simultaneously. He’d end up finishing in seventh after this unfortunate hand:
Never one to rest on his laurels, Spraggy was back in business the very next night and he ended up reaching the final table of the Hot $109 yet again.
Alas, the title defence wasn’t to be. This time he’d have to settle for sixth and $883.
The craziest hand “SolidThought” has seen in a long time
10x pot bet incoming.
Clips of the week
Lex and Myrthe are going to be parents!
No way, that just happened!
Very nice score coming from a completely unexpected $22 satellite win! Thanks so much for the raids, @GJReggie, @Jevakim, @limerickey71 and all you guys who make these streams so fun! ♥️ pic.twitter.com/oFMUJxuopn

First, you chop with quads.
Then the clown laughs.
They’re not scared of anything.
Not the best flop they’ve ever seen.
Happy days for PyeFacePoker.
Rough runout for MajinCast.
One to watch
Tom “Predator410” Parsons – www.twitch.tv/predator410Â
You might have seen Tom “Predator410” Parsons on PokerStars Blog before.
After all, the 22-year-old from Northern Ireland won a Platinum Pass during Lex Live 2 in London and told us his story.
But Parsons (or Pred as he’s known in the community) is a streamer in his own right, and as we’ve never featured his channel in this One to Watch section, we felt it was time to put that right.
Pred plays low stakes MTTs and is building his bankroll live on stream.
