Event #16: $5,200 NLHE, 8-Max, Main Event – Day 4 (Final Table)
Nineteen of 20 EPT Online trophies have now been awarded. Just one remains… and it’s a big one.

From 1,304 entries just nine players remain in the first ever $5,200 EPT Online Main Event. Tuesday saw the field cut down from 72 players, with PokerStars Ambassador Ramon Colillas among the early knockouts in 53rd. Others making it closer to the final table were Christopher “Apotheosis92” Kruk (19th, $41,794), Liviu “0Human0” Ignat (15th, $51,631), 2005 EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final champion Rob “batoelrob” Hollink (14th, $51,631), Marton “noirduck” Czuczor (13th, $51,631), and Mustapha “lasagnaaammm” Kanit (11th, $63,784).

Here’s how the chips stack up to begin Wednesday’s finale:

1. tikidiii (Finland) — 60,602,479
2. WhatIfGod (Sweden) — 59,560,859
3. Viacheslav “VdV1990” Buldygin (Russia) — 54,038,702
4. Timothy “Tim0thee” Adams (Canada) — 49,203,980
5. Andreas “daskalos20” Christoforou (Netherlands) — 26,582,982
6. David “MissOracle” Yan (New Zealand) — 24,927,164
7. Jon “apestyles” Van Fleet (Canada) — 20,733,422
8. Enio “Bozzano JNR” Bozzano (Brazil) — 16,577,500
9. vip25459 (Kazakhstan) — 13,772,912

Both “tikidiii” and “WhatIfGod” are known for their online successes, as is Yan. So is Van Fleet, who for the last 15 years has carved out a name for himself as one of the best online tournament players ever.

Meanwhile Buldygin, Yan, and Adams each arrive at the final table having enjoyed EPT High Roller successes in the past. Both Adams and Christoforou have made EPT Main Event final tables before as well, with both finishing eighth (Adams at Monte Carlo in 2019, Christoforou at Barcelona in 2013).

The first player out in ninth today will earn $78,796.80. Meanwhile a seven-figure prize of $1,019,081.90 sits up top for the winner along with the coveted EPT Main Event trophy.

The Mini EPT Online Main Event (with a $55 buy-in) is down to 44 players from a whopping field of 18,412 entries. They’ll play down to a winner today as well, with the champion taking away a cool $95,805.04.


RECENT RESULTS

Event #19: $530 NLHE, 8-Max, Progressive Knockout – Day 2
From 1,000 entries (exactly), Event #19 played down from 120 to a winner Tuesday night with Mexico’s Dani “danipesis” Palau taking away the top prize for a total cash of $71,852, just over half of which came from bounties. 2015 EPT Deauville Main Event champion Ognyan “cocojambo0” Dimov finished fourth in the event, while Marc-Andre “FrenchDawg” Ladouceur bubbled the final table to finish ninth.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Event #20: $1,050 NLHE, Last Chance
The one-day “Last Chance” tournament played out on Tuesday as well, where Argentinian sensation Damian “pampa27” Salas topped a 678-entry field including Phillipe “takechip” D’Auteil heads-up to win the title and a $117K first prize. Artur “mararthur1” Martirosyan took seventh.
