In January, the PokerStars Carribbean Adventure (PCA) returns to the luxurious Baha Mar resort in the Bahamas. There’s still several ways to qualify by playing online satellites for standout events. Let’s take a look at three possible routes that could get you there.
PSPC satellites
The PSPC is one of the biggest live events on the calender, a huge $25,000 entry event that will be paying out millions on the final table.
Joining the field will be 400 players who won entry with a Platinum Pass. And you could still be among them by winning a Qualifier Package.
There are four PSPC satellites running between now and the event, each with a $1,050 buy-in and a prize pool of one PSPC package per $30,000 in the prize pool.
The dates for those are: December 4, December 11, January 8 and January 15, all on a Sunday.
A PSPC Qualifier Package is similar to a Platinum Pass. It’s worth $30,000, and includes buy-ins and expenses:
- Buy-in to the $25,000 PSPC
- Six nights hotel accommodation for winner and a guest in a 5-star hotel
- Airport transfer
- $1,900 expense money
BSOP Bahamas
To kick off the 2023 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA), the Brazilian Series of Poker is setting sail for the Bahamas. Running Sunday January 22-24, BSOP Bahamas is a $1,100 buy-in event.
Satellites for the BSOP Bahamas are running from December 4 – January 15 every Wednesday and Sunday, each awarding both seats and expenses.
This may well be one of the lowest cost routes to the Bahamas. Direct buy-ins for these satellites is $162, with sub satellites running from $2.20.
BSOP Bahamas packages are worth $3,000, which includes a $1,100 buy-in and $1,900 expenses.
21 packages are guaranteed across the BSOP Bahamas satellite schedule.
PCA satellites
You can also get to the Bahamas by playing PCA satellites, which include $10,300 Main Event buy-in along with expenses.
There are two PCA satellites running every week, one every Wednesday and one every Sunday. You can buy in directly for $530, with daily feeders running for $0.55, $5.50, and $55, as well as daily freebuys with $0.11 re-entries.
Special edition PCA Spin & Gos are also running now on PokerStars. They cost $15 to play, and payout cash prizes and PCA satellite tickets. The top prize is a full PCA package.
PCA packages are worth $16,000 and include:
- Buy-in to the PCA Main Event: $10,300
- 8 night’s hotel & breakfasts
- Airport transfer
- Expenses
Head to PokerStars and click on the “Events” tab, then on “Live” to get started. From here, you’ll find a list of satellites available for upcoming live events, including the PCA. It’s time to take your final shot to win an all inclusive ticket to the Bahamas.
