Watch Conor “1_conor_ b_1” Beresford’s WCOOP masterclass in full
On Wednesday night, the best online tournament player in the world right now won his first World Championship of Online Poker title.
Conor Beresford: First WCOOP title for the world no.1
Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford is ranked no.1 in the world on Pocket Fives’ rankings, and despite millions in cashes and two SCOOP titles to his name, he had never captured a WCOOP title. Until now.
Beresford entered Day 2 with a below-average stack but manoeuvred his way to the title. It was quite a performance.
Thankfully, we got to watch the entire event unfold on PokerStars Twitch channel Wednesday night, with cards-up commentary.
It was a stacked line-up, to say the least. Joining Beresford were other crushers including Ole “wizowizo” Schemion, Mike “SirWatts” Watson, and Luke “Bit2Easy” Reeves, to name just a few.

There are imposters Among Us…
You might have noticed some of your favourite poker streamers going to war in a different game recently.
A game of words rather than bets, but a game in which bluffing is just as crucial.
Among Us is an online multiplayer game which follows a group of crewmates (you and your mates) who try to stay alive by completing tasks. The catch is that one or more of you will be a secret imposter trying to sabotage the spaceship mission by killing off the team one by one. It’s up to you lot to decide who to vote off in order to save the mission.
Basically, it’s like Werewolf — a game we discovered being played by poker’s Super High Roller crew back at the 2019 PCA.

It seems like the game is a fun way to unwind after a long WCOOP session, so expect to see more of it over the next couple of weeks.
