The Twitch Poker Tribune is a weekly blog bringing you the latest news and best clips of the week from the world of Twitch poker, as well as shining a light on some up-and-coming streamers you should check out.
THIS WEEK:
- Fintan and Jordan “BigBluffZinc” Drummond share hand history review

- Ones to watch: “Driftinator”, “WisternJL”
FINTAN AND JORDAN DRUMMOND SHARE COACHING SESSION
One of the best things about Twitch Poker is that it provides us with free educational content. Watching streamers battle their way through tough fields allows us to pick up knowledge along the way which we can use to improve our own games.
Learning for free this way is particularly cool if you haven’t got the funds for poker coaching.
One player who does though is PokerStars Ambassador Fintan “easywithaces” Hand, and his coach Jordan “BigBluffZinc” Drummond happens to be one of the top high stakes tournament players in the world.
After Fintan won the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) 69-H $1,050 Afternoon Deep Stack for $73,653, he got together with Drummond for a hand history review.
Luckily for us, they streamed it live on Twitch.
Drummond has now shared the coaching session on his YouTube channel and if you’re serious about improving your game, you won’t find much better free content than this.

LEX RUNS IT BACK
Lex Veldhuis has been absent from Twitch post-SCOOP, but that doesn’t mean the no.1 poker streamer on the planet has been avoiding the cameras.
This week the PokerStars Ambassador sat down for a chat with Poker Central’s Remko Rinkema in a new video podcast series called Run It Back.
The idea is simple: Lex and Remko watch episodes of High Stakes Poker Season 6 from 2010 in which Lex is at the table. They pause the conversation when Lex is in a hand and discuss the action in detail, including the famous Phil Ivey hand and Doyle Brunson call down.
In between hands, however, is when the real juicy stuff is discussed. Lex shares stories from his poker beginnings, his first Las Vegas trip, Ivey stories, and more.
As an old friend of Lex’s, Remko is the perfect interviewer for this entertaining walk down memory lane. Check it out.
FANCY A GAME OF POKER BINGO?
The micro stakes might not be where you’ll find exciting action, but this week two Twitch streamers teamed up and managed to spice up the small stakes.
Lukas “RobinPoker” Robinson and fellow poker media member Milko “MilkoVW” van Winden co-streamed a session in which they played Poker Bingo. Each had a card listing poker occurrences, and they’d tick them off as the session went along.
Those things included:
- Seeing three cat image avatars at the tables
- Hitting a set
- Folding KK twice
- Winning six hands in a row
- Winning with 72 at showdown
And so on. Needless to say, the game produced an entertaining stream.

ONES TO WATCH:
“DRIFTINATOR” – www.twitch.tv/driftinator
The young Norwegian known on Twitch as “Driftinator” first came to our attention as a prominent member of Lex Veldhuis’ community. We even featured him in our Meet The Community series in the build-up to Lex Live 3 (which was sadly cancelled).
“Driftinator” is a streamer in his own right and has been putting in some hard work of late, with some 10+ hour streams playing MTTs at the low to mid stakes.
New biggest score. Did not expect to last nearly 10 hours in a $530 field, to be honest. Busted a few hands before the end of day 1 sadly, but this run was quite fucking pure nonetheless. By far one of the most fun streams yet. Thanks everyone for the rail and support. ♥️ pic.twitter.com/w3IY4eJPWY

“WISTERNJL” – www.twitch.tv/wisternjl
“WisternJL” streams everything on PokerStars, from multi-table tournaments to Spin & Go Max events. He’s a 22-year-old from Denmark (although he streams in the English language).
Little highlight from last week! Hope this week is gonna be better though 😅 pic.twitter.com/gFO0JwOaFl
