A few years back when Alex “AlexKP” Petersen won a WCOOP event, I asked him to describe his talents off the poker table.
“I’m a pretty fast runner on 100m, suck at backgammon, and make an awesome tuna
salad!” he declared.
Today, he can claim one more thing: he’s pretty damned good at playing for a title on the PokerStars Mobile client.
Last night, Petersen (a man who already has a WCOOP and TCOOP title) took down Event 23 of the 2014 Turbo Championship of Online Poker. And he did it over some steak. Seriously. Literally over some steak.
That picture comes off the PokerNet forum where AlexKP posted last night as he played the TCOOP event on his phone. I’m not entirely sure how long he played on his phone or how the steak tasted, but I’ve reached out to him to find out.
