The Stadium Series finale kicked off this weekend, with the Grand Finals underway and the Wrap-up events bringing an added boost to the series’ prizes. Before those events come to an end, we’ve had several high value Heats come to dramatic conclusions, with Parker “tonkaaaa” Talbot and “Aleks Better” both claiming their second titles of the series.

Here are the latest Stadium Series results:

STADIUM SERIES NEWS BULLETIN

With three completed Heats to cover, for a total of nine huge Stadium Series tourneys, we’re breaking the bulletin down into individual events. Here’s how they went down:

Heat 27 results

Heat 27 was an 8-max PKO. In the action-packed $5,200 high stakes version, Niklas “Lena900” Astedt was the first to crash out on a star studded final table. “Bounatirou” from the UK was chip leader when the tourney went on break, their run coming to an end in sixth place. Fintan “easywithaces” Hand entertained his Twitch crowd with a convincing display of poker finesse, coming third for $31k. “WATnlos” from Austria finished second for $77,439, whilst “chico70” from Bulgaria claimed the top spot for $130,408, including nearly $77k in bounties.

The $530 27-M had a $1.04 million prize pool! The top prize was eventually claimed by Aleks Better from Russia, who been a regular name in the Stadium Series, already picking up a first place in the Heat 11-H for over $65k. They have now picked up their second title, along with another $125,154 in prizes, a huge $76,953 of that coming by way of knockout.

A three way split foretold the ending of the $55 27-L. “LCVW92” from Norway pulled through for a total of $31,353.

Heat 28 results

Heat 28 was a DeepStack event, inviting players to test out their skills with stacks worthy of 5-betting action and intense post-flop play. In the 28-H,  Scott “Aggros Santos” Margereson looked like he was on for a Stadium Series double. The Irish multi-time WCOOP champion took down the 26-H for over $114k just a few days ago. This time they finished in fourth place for $54,307. “DaanOss” from Austria came third, “krakukra” from Russia second, and “Swaggersorus” from the UK claimed the mammoth $119,483.10 top prize.

In the 28-M, “danechka1991” from Russia and “Nepelo10” from Brazil made a heads-up chop. Nepelo10 went on to win the tourney, earning $72,930.16.

The 28-L resulted in a three-way split, with Brazilian “RQuariguas” prevailing for $28,609.54.

Heat 29 results

Another huge PKO event, and enough to keep players ticking over until the Grand Final started the following day.

Parker “tonkaaaa” Talbot picked up his second Stadium Series title. The Canadian pro already took down the first Weekly Final for $261,489, adding to their impressive online total of over $6.3 million. On Saturday, he outlasted an elite field, including second place “WushuTM”, to claim the top prize which, including his $90k score from knockouts, totaled $151,916.

nerdshock” from Finland earned first place in the 29-M for $84,446 total, with Canadian reg “TruthBeTold” coming in second for a touch over $48k.

Braver16” from Germany took down the 29-L on their third entry, earning $29,641 for first place following a three way split. Interestingly, because of the dynamics of the deal and the respective bounties, second place “ryzio” from Poland took a similar amount, earning $29,191.
