Over in the medium, “thx4urm0n3y” outlasts “probirs”, whilst “waveless” stepped up in the low for a five figure win.

Final table of champions in Heat 26-H: The $5,200 6-Max Heat 26-H event attracted a streamlined field of top pros, with 67 players making up 99 entries, many of them big names on the online circuit. Lex Veldhuis missed out on the money, crashing out in 17th plae. Francisco “Tomatee” Benitez made eighth, whilst “silentm0de” converted their third entry, finishing in seventh. Fedor “CrownUpHolz” Holz was leading when the tourney went on break with 11 players left, but eventually claimed third prize of over $70k. That left top ranked Swedish pro Simon “C. Darwin2” Mattsson and Scott “Aggro Santos” Margereson from Ireland to battle it out. Margereson, who has two WCOOP titles and a Sunday Million victory to their name, was the one to top this elite field, adding the huge $119,483 first prize to nearly $6 million in online winnings.
Two Sunday Million winners battle it out in Heat 26-M: The $530 medium stakes version of the event still offered a $500k guarantee, the same as the high stakes, so the prizes up top were huge. The appropriately named Canadian reg “thx4urm0n3y”, a player who has won the Sunday Million twice and finished as a runner-up too, took down the event for $82,275. To do so, they had to make it through Hungarian player Andras “probirs” Nemeth, who’s top wins include a Sunday Million first place and SCOOP High Roller win worth over $576k. Probirs earned $57,326 for second place.
“waveless” steps up to five figure win in Heat 26-L: The $55 low stakes event 4,882 entries, so although the buy-ins were small and the prizes still huge, players had to make it through a bigger field to claim their prize. “waveless” had already been proving themselves capable of taking down MTTs, having four figure wins for first place finishes in the Hot $11 and $27 Saturday Eliminator. They have now stepped up a notch, taking down the Heat 26-L for $34,741, their first five figure win – hopefully of many.
