PokerStars have partnered with Poker Power to offer fun and engaging opportunities for women who want to improve their game, learn life skills, and make friends along the way.

The partnership will support women in poker, encouraging more people to sit down at the tables, and making sure all players have a safe and comfortable place to play, whether live or online.

The first initiative to be launched through the partnership is an inspiring poker boot camp.

Poker Power bootcamp

The Poker Power boot camp is aimed at women with a keen interest in poker who want to strengthen their skills and take their experience of the game to the next level.

Although the learning will be a big part of what is offered, the boot camp will also be about building community. It’s a fantastic way for women to get together to share and learn.

The Poker Power bootcamp runs online for fours week and will see novice women players who were selected via an anonymous survey learn gameplay skills that translate to real world success, including negotiation, strategic decision-making and capital allocation.
