The $10 buy-ins offer a genuine shot for low-stakes players to get into the PCA (although all the usual $700, $530, $215 and $33r routes are also open) and micro-stakes players can book their place in the qualifier by playing FPP, $1 and $0.10 satellites. Remember, WCOOP main event winner Marat ‘maratik’ Sharafutdinov has proved that just a few FPPs can be turned into a million dollars. You can even get a free shot at the qualifier by taking advantage of this PCA deposit bonus (which runs until 13 October). Once you make it to The Bahamas there’s plenty of side action with 40 tournaments as well as cash games. For those weighing in a little heavier on the poker scales there’s plenty of action to be had at PCA 2013 with a $100,000 Super High Roller kicking off festivities (5-7 January), a $25,500 High Roller (12-14 January) and the highly popular $10,300 six-handed turbo running on the final day of the festival (14 January). The 2012 Super High Roller was won by online phenomenon Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom.
EPT Live cards up
The hugely popular EPT live webcast will showcase the final tables of the Super High Roller, the High Roller and the Main Event with cards-up ‘as live’. EPT Live will operate on a one-hour delay on PokerStars.tv (and you can watch archived shows from the PCA 2012 right here).
