PCA 2013 in review: Selbst tops off a fantastic PCA as six bank more than a million
2 Minute Read
There aren’t many festivals about where you can find six players banking more than a million dollars each. The PokerStars Caribbean is one of them. Scott Seiver and David ‘Doc’ Sands kicked off the festival with a first and second place in the $100,000 Super High Roller for $2,003,480 and $1,259,320 respectively. Dimitar Danchev and Joel Micka won a similar amount for their top two spots in the $10,000 Main Event; $1,859,000 and $1,190,000.
Then, at the end of the festival, Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst took down the $25,000 High Roller event for $1,424,420 – also making her the most successful female tournament player in history – while Vladimir Troyanovskiy’s runner-up prize of $792,180 pushed him over the million dollar mark when added to the $257,580 he picked up in the Super High Roller.
