The final table is set for WCOOP-31 ($530 triple shootout) and it looks like it’s going to be belter. After 711 buy-ins and two rounds of sit-and-gos, we have just ten players remaining and $64,879.20 up for first prize.
Among those sitting down at 11:00 ET* is Max ‘HotKarlMc’ Heinzelmann who is looking for his first PokerStars title, having come close in the flesh at back-to-back EPTs.

Among the other challengers for the WCOOP bracelet we have Carter ‘cswidler’ Swidler, a highly ranked online tournament player, who comes in strong off the back of a $115,620 win in a $1,050 WCOOP 2nd Chance earlier this week. Also in form is Artem205 who makes his third final table of the series and has already chalked up $159,687 in WCOOP 2012 cashes.
Praytush ‘Shane Gamble’ Buddiga, who final tabled EPT Berlin last season, will be looking to last longer than he did in Germany. He was first out there but that didn’t reflect upon the talent he demonstrated in the preceding days of play that saw him win his €5,000 buy-in back in the Skrill last longer.
A player that already possesses some poker bling is Bastet2004, who arrives with a 2010 SCOOP-H title that pocketed the German $83,882.25.
Ryan ‘TheCart3r’ Carter gets his second shot at a WCOOP title in this series having finished third to mikal12345 in WCOOP-12: $215 PLO h/l 6-max. Carter scored $23,411 for that and a fourth-place or higher finish at this final table will eclipse that.
