EPT9 Sanremo: Chip leader Matt Salsberg talks to PokerStars.tv (plus bonus Deeb)
3 Minute Read
Matt Salsberg has a morning routine here in Sanremo. It’s a simple walk down the seafront in the Italian sunshine. The ritual certainly seems to be paying dividends at the moment. Salsberg started the day on average chips but quickly built a stack and, going into the dinner break, was sat at the top of the chip counts with 1,900,000.
But for every player stacking up several more go to the rail. Online legend and SCOOP destroyer Shaun Deeb is one of those. He made the money busting out a little after talking to us (but will be happy enough hunting down some open face Chinese action).
And if you like poker people talking about the game, then why not get two for the price of one? Gilmartin caught up with Shaun Deeb just a little earlier (he’s now out).
