Home / Uncategorized / EPT London: Getting serious on day two

Now things really start to pick up. 596 players came here to conquer on day one and now just 158 remain. Today there’s a blank sheet, when fortunes are made and lost on the turn of a card. You can expect to see liberal use of the word “busted” on the blog today.

The PokerStars influence in that crowd of 158 is typically active, with a number of Team PokerStars Pros still vying for EPT glory, including Alex Kravchenko, Barry Greenstein, Vicky Coren, Vanessa Rousso, Marcin Horecki, Andre Akkari, Isabelle Mercier and Victor Ramdin.

There’s additional weight in the form of Million Dollar Man Peter Eastgate and sponsored players Gualter Salles and Kathy Liebert. Add in a healthy dose of players like former winners Julian Thew, Joseph Mouawad, Pascal Perrault and Arnaud Mattern; David Benyamine, Sorel Mizzi, Neil Channing, Stephen Chidwick, Roland de Wolfe, Gus Hansen, and today promises to be a tough scramble from start to finish.

The full counts for all of the remaining players are available HERE, with Erik Sjodin starting today with the honour of being chip leader.
