Home / Poker / EPT Paris activities: All the off-the-felt fun

After its hugely successful debut last year, EPT Paris returns to the PokerStars calendar in February — and players can prepare for much more of the same.

With an enhanced player experience guaranteed (we’ve learned from teething troubles last year!) it’s time to unveil to the EPT Paris activities calendar, which will give you a full overview of things you can do away from the poker tables.

EPT PARIS ACTIVITIES CALENDAR

MOULIN ROUGE DINNER

Expect frills at the Moulin Rouge

February 18 & 23
6pm–11.30pm

It’s arguably the most famous restaurant/club venue in Paris, and now PokerStars players can sample everything the Moulin Rouge has to offer. There will be two opportunities to grab a seat at the legendary nightspot, sampling typically sumptuous food and unique entertainment. Places are strictly limited, so sign up as quickly as you can.

CROISSANT BAKING CLASS

Learn the art of the croissant

February 16 & 20
1.30pm–6.30pm

No one does pastry quite like the Parisians, and this is your chance to learn the secrets. Join an exclusive croissant-baking class where you’ll be in the capable hands of an expert pâtissier, mixing the dough, rolling into shape and baking. Dazzle your friends on your return.

CITY SIGHTSEEING BUS

Hop aboard the sightseeing bus

Daily – February 14-25
Open ticket

Paris is the kind of city where architectural wonders lurk around every corner and a voyage of discovery can never quite be complete. However, if time is limited and you want to see as much as you possibly can in the most comfortable and efficient manner, hop aboard a city sightseeing bus and be driven around this incredible metropolis.

BATEAU MOUCHE RIVER CRUISE

Daily – February 14-25
Open ticket

The Louvre is among the sights you can see from a river cruise

Paris just gets better and better the more perspectives you have of the city and a trip down the River Seine offers one of the very best. The river cruise will take you past the Eiffel Tower, the Trocadéro, Pont de l’Alma, the Beaux-Arts, the Louvre Museum, the Petit and Grand Palais, as well as Notre-Dame Cathedral, Concorde square, and the Orsay Museum. In other words, some of Paris’ most attractive and best-known sights.

EPT PARIS ACTIVITIES: PARTIES AND LOUNGES

PLAYER PARTY

It’s back to Fouquets for this year’s player party

Fouquets nightclub
Monday, February 19
7.30pm–late

The inaugural EPT Paris in 2023 had one of the best player parties of recent years. And so the return to the city means a return to Fouquets nightclub for more of the same. This year’s party features a live band and Moulin Rouge dancers, a buffet with an animated chef and then a DJ into the night.

Schedule:

7:30pm: Doors open
8pm-10pm: Buffet and live entertainment
10pm-2am: DJ

Open bar until midnight; cash bar until 2am.

Shuttle bus provided from tournament venue to Fouquets.

LA BRASSERIE DE L’EPT

Breaks can be short, but sustenance is important during poker events, which is why PokerStars has redoubled efforts to provide great food and drink options at EPT Paris. La Brasserie de L’EPT has both bar and food stations open from 10am-11pm daily, meaning players can get decent food and drink just a few steps from the tournament room.

SPORTS PLAYER LOUNGE

Take some time away from the tables at the EPT Sports Player Lounge, giving you the chance to relax and socialise in a living-room style environment. Expect things like a pool table and/or table tennis (tbc), plus video game consoles and various scheduled events. The lounge will be open for most of the tournament day.

Plenty of games in the sport lounge

PokerStars has also arranged televisions for the restaurant and lounges to screen major sporting events taking place during EPT Paris. If there’s a game you want to see, talk to a member of staff and it may well be possible to get it screened.

FURTHER PLAYER BENEFITS

WIN AN EPT MAIN EVENT PACKAGE!

There’s an incredible opportunity for France Poker Series players to extend their stay in Paris in February and play the EPT Main Event as well.

On February 15, during the dinner break of Day 1C of the FPS Main Event, PokerStars Ambassadors will host a reception in the Sports Player Lounge where one lucky visitor will land an EPT package worth €7,800.

Make sure you attend the Meet & Greet and join the Spin the Wheel contest for a chance to win this incredible package.

To confirm: an EPT package includes a €5,300 buy-in to the EPT Main Event, plus €2,500 in expenses. That includes a hotel room, plus exclusive merchandise and the full PokerStars qualifier treatment.
