4.18pm: Greenstein eliminates O’Dwyer to face Seiver heads up
Barry Greentsein has just knocked out Stephen O’Dwyer to take a large chip lead into the heads up against Scott Seiver. Greenstein held pocket fours against O’Dwyer’s A♦ 4♦  and faded the outdraw. The Team PokerStars Pro’s stack is going to be tough for Seiver to conquer. — RD
4.07pm: Lyall king-of-the-hill
Scotsman Dean Lyall is the latest player to join the victory roll. He had a lengthy heads-up battle with Jean Francois Talbot but found K♥ K♦ when it mattered. Talbot held A♣ 8♥ but failed to spike the three-outer needed on the 7♥ 4♣ 8â™ 2♦ 6♦ board. — MC
4.02pm: Four-handed?
There are still a couple of tables that are playing four-handed and one of those has Team PokerStars SportStar Fatima Moreira de Melo and Team PokerStars Pro Greg Debora. Neither are in good shape on the chip front with Elio Fox and Cornel Cimpan the players with chips. — RD
3.57pm: Adams head of the family
Despite dropping down to just 3,000 chips, Brandon Adams has defeated Bryn Kenney heads-up to move through and he collected five bounties along the way. The final hand saw both players commit all their chips pre-flop. Kenney tabled A♦ 8♥ to Adams’ 5♣ 5â™ and the board ran 9â™ 5♦ 7♥ J♦ Qâ™ . –MC

Dane Canelas-Miller has just gone through after hitting Broadway with big slick. He’s American, not Danish – Dane is his name, not nationality. That clear? Good. Then we shall continue. — RD
3.49pm: Two more done
Two more tables have concluded. Scott Baumstein won his table and Rob Tepper defeated Jonathan Little heads-up to win his table. — MC
LEVEL UP: BLINDS 500-1,000, ANTE 100
3.42pm: Ainsworth goes through
After that vital double up to 60,000 just a short while ago Jude Ainsworth quickly dispatched Kyle Bowker and then Matt Jarvis to go through to the final 36. It’s looking like it’s going to be some line-up.
Lots of tables now heads up going into level 6, including Toby Lewis and Vladimir Shchemelev. Lewis was down to just 425 earlier and is now in with a good shout to go through. — RD
3.37pm: Binger Mk II wins
As Michael Binger battles heads-up, Nick has won his table. He was heads-up with Todd Terry and they got it all-in on a [10][3][8] flop. Terry had top-top with ace-ten but Binger had flopped a set with pocket threes. Binger heads through to the next round with four bounties (and a fossil from knocking out Greg Raymer) to his name. — MC
3.32pm: Big double up for Ainsworth
Jude Ainsworth has just doubled through to over 60,000 after getting it all-in on a 6♣ 3♥ 8♣ flop against Matt Jarvis. Ainsworth opened for 4,200 from the button and was called by Jarvis in the big blind. Ainsworth c-bet 7,000 and Jarvis shoved. Ainsworth made the call for his final 20,000 and tabled Q♣ 8â™ to Jarvis’ Aâ™ 6â™ . The board blanked out and the Irish Team PokerStars Pro, aka j.Thaddeus, is just above average on his table. — RD
3.27pm: Hitting everything
Faraz Jaka has taken down his table. We don’t know how it ended but he eliminated James Dempsey in 3rd place before dispatching Cliff D. Josephy in a quick heads-up battle. The dealer at the table said it was “Brutal” in that Jaka hit absolutely everything from three-handed onwards. — MC
3.22pm: Dyer doubles
Michael Baxter is still in his heads-up battle with Michael Baxter after doubling-up. All the chips went in pre-flop with Dyer holding Aâ™ K♦ to Baxter’s 10♣ 10â™ . The board ran A♣ 9♦ Q♥ Jâ™ 3♥ to move Dyer up to over 70,000 in chips. — MC
3.16pm: Raymer and Kravchenko out
Greg Raymer has just been busted by Nick Binger and threatened to hurl his bounty token across the tournament floor out of spite. He was joking.
Alex Kravchenko has busted from his table and it looks like Dean Lyall is going to go through. His opponent, Jean Francois Talbot, is outchipped but certainly has room to mount a comeback. — RD
3.05pm: Second table finished
Ronnie M Bardah won four bounties on his way to winning his table. The last player to stand in his way was Kyle Frey. There are 34 tables still in the thick of the action. –MC

3pm: Minieri first through
Dario Minieri is the first player through to Day 2 and didn’t he do it in style. The young Italian took every scalp at the table to pick up $5,000 in bounties. Henrik Tollefsen was providing the final bit of resistance but he finally fell calling all-in for around 35,000 into a pot of 20,000 on a 4♥ 6♦ 6♣ 2♥ 9♣ board. Minieri held 5♥ 6♥ for trips.

2.59pm: MacBust
EPT Berlin champion Kevin MacPhee is out. He raised from the button only to face a three-bet to 3,200 from Marvin Rettenmaier in the small blind. MacPhee’s answer was four-bet jam for 18,425. When he was called he said “That can’t be good” and he was right.

Rettenmaier: A♦ J♥
The board ran 10♦ K♣ 2♦ Q♥ Kâ™ 8â™ against Darren Elias’ J♦ K♦ . The board ran out 8♥ 10♥ Q♦ 7♥ A♥ to river Broadway for Elias. Froelich walked off dejected clutching a single county token worth $1,000. Elias has two and a lot of chips. — RD
2.45pm: A double-up here, a double-up there
Team PokerStars Pro Dario Mineri and Bryn Kenney were both all-in at the same time but on different tables and both finished on the right side of a race.
Minieri was all-in for 50,775 with pocket eights versus Henrik Tollefsen’s big slick and survived the 3♦ 5♦ 3♥ 2♣ 5♣ board.
Kenney meanwhile was all-in for 33,275 with J♥ J♦ . He was up against Joseph Cheong and his A♣ Q♦ and he too survived as the board ran 7♥ 10♥ 4♣ K♦ 2♥ board. — MC
2.42pm: ElkY out
Team PokerStars Pro Bertand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier has just been knocked out and I think it was Alex Kravchenko that did the damage. The Frenchman was fairly short. This heat is three-handed and looks to be taken by either Kravchenko or Dean Lyall. Jean Francois Talbot is the other remaining player but is short with 8,000. — RD

The players are back in their seats for level four. This next session of poker should see a lot of the tables become very short handed and a few will conclude.
