Team PokerStars Pro has had its eyes set firmly on World Series bracelets for the past two weeks. Now, they have a better example of where to aim.

Last night, Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu won his fourth World Series bracelet in the $2,000 Limit Hold’em event.

With the bar now set, two members of Team PokerStars Pro are gunning for final tables today.

Barry Greenstein has one of the top ten chip stacks in the $2,000 No-Limit Hold’em event that is headed into Day 2. A few more than 130 players remain in the event and will play down to the final table tonight.

Team PokerStars Pro’s Joe Hachem has made it inside the top 100 players in the $2,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em event. Hachem has shown in the past he is exceptional at this hold’em variant and stands a good chance at making another run for a bracelet.

Congratulations to Team PokerStars Pros Humberto Brenes and Noah Boeken for their big finishes in the $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em event. Boeken picked up $16,147 for his 29th place finish. Brenes finished just short of the final table and won $34,357.

Today should be an interesting day at the World Series. The big dogs will be out playing the $10,000 Heads-Up competition. Other players will be fighting to take over Team PokerStars Pro’s Katja Thater position as reigning champion of the $1,500 Razz event.

Good luck to everyone this weekend.
